There is nothing more comforting than cracking open a new book and giving those pages a big ol’ sniff. I call it a part of my book therapy. I’m guessing you also have a giant stack of books next to your favorite reading chair that has yet to be read. There always seems to be more books to read! I see you.
Though you can’t sniff your Kindle, (I mean you can, but…ew.) you can read all my books on your Kindle. That way you can read in the dark for added coziness. Most of my books are a part of a series, and are typically novella length so you can read them in a few hours, then binge the whole series!

what is cozy women's fiction?
cozy aesthetics
When life becomes overwhelming we come to cozy books for the freshly baked bread, hand picked wildflowers, and the adorable animals. Sensory elements and warm, whimsical settings provide the internal hug we so often crave. The topics can be heavier, but the presentation is always going to provide a sense of love and safety. I believe that cozy things help to calm the nervous system.
low angst
Popular fiction, especially romance, hammers the mantra that conflict is king because it keeps readers turning pages. But if you are like me sometimes the conflict can be a bit much, especially when you know it’s coming. Low angst means that the conflict is there, but it’s not going to shatter you. It’s an “Oh dear” moment vs an “Oh Sh*t”” moment.
women centered
Women’s fiction is kind of a big bucket, but it features female centered narratives, emotional growth arcs, and typically an element of inter-connectedness between friends, family and community. It usually, (but not always) contains a romantic subplot of some sort. Cozy women’s fiction is all that plus a bakery, inn, or bookstore.

Cozy Rose Inn is a comforting but relatable story of starting over after losing yourself to a life that no longer fits and stepping into a path that you are willing to risk the unknowns to follow your dreams.

orchard lane series
