hi i’m elle, and my life is...kinda crazy
I’ve called sunny California home for 35 years, though my journey to becoming a writer has taken me on some incredible adventures. I used to live a whirlwind life working for Betsey Johnson and as a wardrobe stylist for commercials and print ads.
Then came the adventure of a lifetime—I packed my bags and moved to Rome, where I ate way too much pasta and lived my dream. My real-life love story started when I re-met a guy I went to high school with (he was a punk rocker; I was a cheerleader—talk about opposites!).
Twenty years later, we’re still together and have the sweetest little dog named HoneyBee. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me pulling tarot cards, journaling, or wandering in nature. Oh, and if I had the space, I’d totally have a creepy doll collection. My philosophy? Love yourself first—everything else falls into place from there.
this is my why
I write romance because, at a time when I felt lonely and unsure, love stories lifted me up. They gave me hope, reminded me to believe in myself, and showed me that everyone—no matter where they start—deserves a happy ending. I want to write stories that do the same for my readers, stories that make you feel deeply, laugh, cry, and most of all, remind you that you belong and are worthy of love, just as you are.
