The idea for “A Cup of Winter Magic” was born out of my love for cozy winter days, the smell of cinnamon and pine, and the beauty of small-town magic. I wanted to create a story that felt like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket by the fire—full of nostalgia, hope, and the possibility of love rekindled. Inspired by the comforting rituals of winter and the charm of reconnecting with old flames, this story captures the magic of embracing the past and finding warmth in unexpected places.
Liam Montgomery is adventurous, charming, and inquisitive. Liam loves meeting new people and hearing their stories, but he’s never stayed in one place long enough to form lasting connections. He’s got a playful, teasing side, but he’s also quietly introspective, especially when it comes to figuring out what he wants for his future.

Nestled in a secluded valley, Frosthaven is a picturesque small town that looks as if it’s been plucked straight from a snow globe. Surrounded by evergreen forests and frost-covered hills, the town is blanketed in a soft layer of snow for most of the winter, giving it an enchanting, magical feel. In Frosthaven, the chill of the winter air is always softened by the warmth of the people, creating the perfect setting for love to bloom.

The idea for Frosthaven’s magic came from the author’s childhood wish to live in a magical town of local holiday fairs, where the smell of cinnamon, fresh pine wreaths, and hot cocoa filled the air, and everything felt just a little more magical under the twinkling lights just like Miracle on 34th Street with Natalie Wood.
